Primedic HeartSave Y/YA electrodes for adults and children 

With a service life of 4 years, the electrodes are reliable and durable. They are easy to apply and ensure optimal conductivity of the electric shock during resuscitation. In addition, the electrodes are clearly labelled and feature pictograms to help the user position them correctly on the patient. This minimises the risk of application errors and increases safety during defibrillation.  

They are suitable for both adults and children, eliminating the need for separate paediatric electrodes. The integrated paediatric button on the device allows the user to easily switch to paediatric mode, simplifying handling in emergency situations. 

Shelf life of Heartsave Y/YA electrodes 

Due to the conductive gel layer, electrodes have an expiry date. After this date, the electrodes must no longer be used, as the gel layer can dry out, reducing conductivity. Please ensure that the defibrillator is always accompanied by a pair of electrodes with a current expiry date. The HeartSave Y/YA multifunctional electrodes have a shelf life of approximately 4 years.
