Unlike many conventional dressings, this product easily adapts to diverse wound contours, facilitating effortless wound packing and rapid bleed control. With its chitosan-impregnated design, ChitoGauze XR Pro promises limited particle shedding into wounds, setting it apart from other alternatives.

How to use the ChitoGauze XR PRo

Application:

  1. Carefully open the foil pouch and extract the ChitoGauze PRO.
  2. Position or pack the ChitoGauze PRO directly over the bleeding source, ensuring it covers all bleeding areas. Depending on the severity, multiple dressings might be needed.
  3. Firmly apply digital pressure until the bleeding is effectively controlled.
  4. Once bleeding has ceased, secure the ChitoGauze PRO using a suitable dressing over the top.

Removal:

  1. The ChitoGauze PRO can remain applied for up to 48 hours.
  2. To remove, gently peel the dressing from the wound.
  3. Should the dressing adhere to the wound, moisten it with saline or water to aid its easy removal.
